Kenneth Erb Served with RCR 2nd Battalion, Killed in Action

 

Kenneth Erb, born in Massachusetts, USA immigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada with his family. He joined the Canadian Army and was Killed in Action during the Korean War. His brother, Herbert Erb who was a US citizen joined US Army and was wounded and disabled during the Korean War. He received the Bronze Star for his valour. He died on 27 April 2001, in Lake Wales, Polk County Florida at the age of 71. Their youngest brother, Robert Erb joined Canadian Army to fight during the Korean War to follow in his brothers’ foot steps. Bob visited Korea after the War as part of “Korea Revisit Program” and he received his Ambassador for Peace Medal in Korea. It is our honour to present the “Ambassador for Peace Medals” for Kenneth Erb and Hebert Erb.
